About Us

Our Story

FIRST robotics team 2404 is a group of students dedicated to improving the engineering and mechanical skills of students in the San Gabriel Valley. We are involved with FIRST Robotics Competition which is a program for high school students. This is a sport of the mind that combines the excitement of sport with the rigors of science and technology. Under strict rules, limited resources, and time limits we students are challenged to raise funds, design a team "brand”, hone teamwork skills and build and program robots to perform tasks against competitors from other teams. This game changes every year, and this is our 15th year competing in the program.

Throughout the years we have grown with dedicated students and mentors from the community and plenty of our students have entered college and become productive members of the community. JPL is one of our major sponsors.

How do I join?

Our FRC team is actively recruiting we welcome any Middle or High school students in the San Gabriel Valley to join our team membership is free. Click this link to register.

Do I need experience to join?

No experience is necessary!!
